A handful of poker techniques will amaze you with their ease. This is 1 of them. Take down your results, every single time you gamble.

Cathedral of Texas Holdem Psalm #3:

You must write down thy successes and thy squanders; for it’s the sum total of all a persons achievements which generate his or her basis.

How detailed is up to you. I tend to consider that hourly specifics and that style of personal detail is not needed. Simply figure out how much up you are and what amount (if anything) you’ve withdrawn. Naturally, if you lose, record that too, despite how much it it might pain you.

Do not omit to note what style of poker you are playing, if that is crucial to you. (In my experience, most folks hold to what they understand and don’t experiment. If all you record is up, loses and withdrawals, you’re way ahead of almost all players out there!)

Provide yourself achievable goals, such as a ‘dream’ goal (new auto, vacation or anything else). When you take out, add the dollars taken out to your dream tally. The greater the success you have, the nearer that dream will be!
