Internet poker has become world famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the different gamblers are given five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your original bet, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes directly to the bank. After the wager comes the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus an amount equal to the original wager. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The bank pays cash even with your wager and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
