Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in a fantastic game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the casino, unlike most other poker games that players bet against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to fret about other, more advanced players taking their cash.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game play, novices are able to take their time and scheme without needing to make quick choices.
It’s also easier to wager on for an extended time with basically a tiny amount of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be under each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer gets 7 cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the houses.
