Poker has become world famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the croupier saying "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the different players are given 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s amount is equal to your beginning wager, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantly to the casino. After the wager is the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with a figure in accordance with the initial wager. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The house pays cash even with your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
