Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in a wonderful game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the casino, unlike nearly all other poker games that players bet with other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don’t need to fret about any other, more experienced people taking their cash.

One more Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, novices are able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make quick decisions.

It’s also much simpler to bet on for a long time with basically a tiny bit of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands has to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is dealt 7 cards face down.

One five card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
