Internet poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or different kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier broadcasting "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers attain 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you need to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning ante, which means that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the house. After the wager comes the face off. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, plus a figure equal to the ante. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pays chips equal to your original bet and fixed expectations on your call bet. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
